The government announced that it will no more issue mobile license. The announcement was made by the Minister of Post and Information Technology, Bruno Koné Nabagné. Apple decided to open its App Store in 33 new countries. 5 are Africans. These are Algeria, Angola, Ghana, Nigeria and Tanzania. IPhone users of these African countries will now have access to the complete catalog of the App Store and will be able to download and install applications. With its 9.5 million subscribers, MTN continues to dominate the mobile market in Ghana. It is followed by Tigo, who lost few clients and now has 4.1 million subscribers.
