Airtel launched 3G in Congo and Gabon

Airtel has officially launched its 3G network in the Congo. The announcement was made on 25 October in Brazzaville, the capital. Now, there will be many new services to subscribers of Airtel: downloading music, television, internet faster, etc. ... The Indian subsidiary of Bharti Airtel plans to take the technological leadership into the market.

In Gabon, Airtel is still negotiating with the authorities and things are progressing quite well: the operator has signed on 4 October an agreement with Artel which allows access to 3G.
